The Adventure Begins at Genting SkyWorlds Outdoor Theme Park in 2021

Ladies and gentlemen, the much anticipated Genting SkyWorlds Outdoor Theme Park at Resorts World Genting is set to be opens in 2021! In a symbolic gesture leading up to the opening of Southeast Asia’s most anticipated theme park this year, Resorts World Genting has officially unveiled the logo of Genting SkyWorlds. The live virtual event was witnessed by specially invited guests and members of the media, who participated in the event via the Zoom video conferencing platform earlier today.
Genting SkyWorlds will be an exciting, immersive outdoor theme park at an elevation of six thousand feet above sea level. This is set to make Genting SkyWorlds one of the most unique theme parks in the region, if not globally.
Slated for opening in Q2 of 2021, Genting SkyWorlds will take visitors on a sky-high adventure through nine movie and adventure inspired ‘worlds’ – Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Liberty Lane, Robots Rivet Town, Andromeda Base, Ice Age, Studio Plaza, Epic and Rio. Each world will feature a host of exciting rides and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. These attractions are specially curated and designed to send imaginations soaring through an immersive experience, as if taken straight out of a movie scene. This will be complemented by a unique array of themed retail, dining, and entertainment experiences, providing a truly holistic experience for the entire family.

Genting SkyWorlds is the result of many years of hard work by our dedicated team members and our partners from all over the world. We are almost ready. We are putting the finishing touches to this amazing theme park, which we believe to be Southeast Asia’s most anticipated theme park. We believe we will deliver the very best experience to our guests throughout this journey,” said Mr. Lee Thiam Kit, Head of Business Operations and Strategies, Resorts World Genting.
The newly-revealed Genting SkyWorlds logo features an amalgamation of clouds, five stars, and the façade of Genting SkyWorlds. Like a jewel on a pillowy crown, the clouds in the logo are symbolic of the theme park’s surroundings and its ‘elevated’ offering to visitors. The five stars represent the premium experience offered by Genting SkyWorlds and the brand’s five core values of hard work, honesty, harmony, loyalty and compassion. Meanwhile, the colours and façade of Genting SkyWorlds in the logo are bright and inspiring, complementing the journey into a world of fantasy.

[Resort World Genting] Aaron Crow “Fearless! Cheating Death Nightly”

WARNING! Alert! Do not read this post if you are a chicken guy!
So 2 weekends ago my girl and I headed to Resorts World Genting to watch the most extraordinary and creepiest magic show.  Among the must-see shows at Resorts World Genting this year is “Fearless! Cheating Death Nightly” that features “mystician” Aaron Crow whose one-of-a-kind performance never fails to wow his audience.
With his fusion of magic, suspense, risky stunts and mystery, Aaron had captured the attention of a crowd without uttering a single word. His unmatched power and eloquent silence has long since become his onstage trademark, always leaving his audience at the edge of their seats and longing for more.
Often described as mental artiste extraordinaire or silent mentalist, the Belgian has impressed even the likes of Simon Cowell, and is well-decorated—he was ranked first at the World Championships of Magic, the largest competition of its kind that is held every three years. There, he battled against 150 other world renowned acts in front of a crowd of 2,500 people.
Among Aaron's other international achievements were winning World Champion Mentalism at the 2003 Den Haag XXII World Championships and winning the Wizard Trophy (Phenomenon category) last year.
Dubbed Belgium's foremost international television sensation, Aaron has also appeared in numerous TV and gala shows including the popular “Le Plus Grand Cabaret Du Monde” that featured his Candle and Sword act a whopping three times. Aaron has also appeared in the biggest TV shows in the world and was recently featured in Broadway New York, London West End and the iconic Sydney Opera House. He also enjoyed millions of hits on Youtube.
At Resorts World Genting, Aaron's “Fearless! Cheating Death Nightly” promises to deliver his unique brand of magic and mystery. The show will be held at the Genting International Showroom daily from 18 March to 15 May 2016, 9pm; with matinee show at 4pm.
Expect an evening of highly original, heart-stopping, thrilling and truly spectacular acts that will leave them at the edge of their seats throughout. In fact, my girl felt a bit scary at first but we were totally amazed with Aaron's entertaining performance! Thanks for bringing us a World class performance!

Eat, Sleep and Have Fun at Resort World Genting

I had a fantastic long weekend with my family at the end of August 2015. We were blessed to be invited by Resort World Genting to a 2 Days 1 Night trip at the coolest place in Malaysia – Genting Highlands.
The 2D1N was full of activities planned by the PR. However, we missed the first part of ‘Behind The Scenes’ Tour due to arriving late from work. Anyhow, I heard that it was an interactive and fun session from my blogger friends. Imagine that Genting’s technical experts takes you through the management of back stage, lighting and sound control involved during a show or event. This will serve as an eye opener visit to participants who are looking forward to learn something hands-on. Who knows, you might even find your passion in this exciting field.

The ‘Behind The Scenes’ Tour including 4 sessions;

1)      Genting International Showroom - management of back stage, lighting and sound control
2)      Snow World. Public would be able to enjoy the Snow World located in First World Plaza for the feeling of winter.

However, for larger groups of us the itinerary was replaced with First World Hotel’s laundry, which is the largest hotel laundry in Malaysia, spanning over 26,000 sq ft, produces up to 38 tons of linens per day. Experience how to operate the ironer feeder and learn to fold a shirt like a pro!

3)      New See Do Eat Workshop
Give yourself a tasty treat in the new See, Do & Eat Workshop where you can make delicious bento with our chefs and create your doughnut masterpiece with different toppings and fillings!

4)      Horizon 50
Last but not least, the guided tour takes all participants to the exclusive Horizon 50. Located at Genting International Convention Center, Horizon 50 is the latest edition at Resorts World Genting. We get to know the history of Genting Highlands, and how the founder, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong built up the place from scratch through time spans over 16,000 sq feet. There are video clips displayed on the screens sponsored by Panasonic Malaysia in Horizon 50.
Not only that, it also has a dedicated section for the upcoming 20th Fox Century Theme Park. There, family gets to capture their picture with the 20th Fox Century figures at dedicated time. There was also art activities prepared for the children.  The venue besides being informative also offers an ambience that creates a feel of modern futuristic atmosphere complemented by the surroundings of state-of-the-art technology, portraying the group’s global expansion and interest in technology.
Check out the available ‘Behind The Scenes’ tour dates at http://www.rwgenting.com/themepark/attraction/behind-the-scenes/introduction/

Rate at only RM28 per pax (RM25 for Genting Rewards Member), ‘Behind The Scenes’ tour is a good activities for the whole family.
As the sun started to sink down, it’s time for dinner. At Resorts World Genting, the temperate weather is always perfect for Malaysia’s favorite one-pot comfort food: steamboat dining! We head over to Resort Seafood Restaurant for a yummilicious steamboat dinner at that evening.
The newly-revamped Resort Seafood restaurant is spacious and has a relaxed ambience. It takes the hotpot experience to a new level, far and above the sweaty mood of chowing in the lowlands heat.
We are amazed with the variety of sauces they offered, there are more than 20 different sauces which are freshly prepared, every day. Diners can sample and mix a variety of unique flavors – from smoothly light soya sauce to premium oyster sauce, green chilli sauce to fiery, slow-burning chili oil - that enhance the succulence and taste of their favorite steamboat items.
The ultimate `kick’ in steamboat is the soup stock for dipping and cooking. Resort Seafood offers exciting contrasts – spicy and nourishing – with tom yam and herbal chicken soup flavors in a `yin yang’ style black pot.
