Monster Madness Erupts at Pavillion

School’s out and the Ghouls of Monster High™ are out to have some fun!

Turning a regular Saturday afternoon in the heart of Kuala Lumpur into a spooktacular spectacle, the student body of Monster High™ launched into song and dance at the main entrance of Pavillion. Rocking to the Monster High™ theme song, “The Fright Song”, over 40 tweens and teens, including several girls and boys dressed up as characters from the popular fashion doll brand, entertained onlookers with their monster-ific moves and hear-stopping stunts performed by one of Showdown 2012’s finalist, the Walawei Dance Crew.

“Since its entry into Malaysia recently, the response and brand acceptance has been positively overwhelming. Parents and children alike relate to the brand’s message and doll’s representation of self-acceptance as emphasized in the tagline “Be Yourself, Be Unique, Be a Monster.” Said Mr. Anthony Frangos, Commercial Director, North and Southeast Asia.

Watsons Music Festival - Time to Play!

Watsons Malaysia today unveiled its very own Watsons Music Festival to be held this 15 December at Stadium Merdeka. It is expected to be one of the largest Hip-Hop / R&B concerts in Malaysia featuring two international acts, and a host of local performers.

Regarded as Watsons’ grandest VIP member’s celebration yet, the event will be centered on the concept of “Time to Play” and is organized in conjunction with the 2nd Anniversary of the Watsons VIP Card.

The Watsons Music Festival will feature Bobby Ray, better known as B.o.B, and the Far East Movement who are world renowned contemporary acts, as well as Mizz Nina, Malaysia’s very own hip-hop / R&B singer, songwriter.

Apart from warm-up acts; Mootz and DJ Skeletor from Hitz.FM's Club Hitz, the event promises various exciting stage activities, even an "Oppa KL Style" music video which is expected to have the entire audience joining-in with “gangnam” style dance moves.
