Datum Jelatek Builds its Community

DatumCorp International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) has announced an en bloc sale of the residential component of the transit-oriented Datum Jelatek as well as the signing of 40 new tenants for the mall component of the development at a business partners signing ceremony on 23 April 2019.

MyAngkasa Az Zahra Sdn Bhd’s Director Muhamad Shaharul Haji Mohamad Shariff today signed the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with DatumCorp International Chairman Hajah Norita Mohd Sidek for the purchase of 379 units in Tower B and Tower C. The units will be placed under a Rent to Own (RTO) scheme.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor Tuan Amirudin Shari, who was also accompanied by newly-appointed PKNS’ CEO YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain, and DatumCorp CEO Shytul Shahryn Mohamad Shaari.

Datum Jelatek is DatumCorp International’s RM 1.2 billion transit-oriented integrated development which is directly connected to the Jelatek LRT station via a link bridge from the mall.

The multiple-award winning development comprise 712 residential units spread over 5.65 acres of prime land which are linked to a 319,000 sq ft (NLA) four-storey retail mall.

Productivity Nexus for Retail and F&B Launches Three Flagship Programmes Targeting 7.2% Growth in Labour Productivity

The Productivity Nexus has once again proven its keen initiative of increasing human capital productivity by implementing Productivity Nexus for the Retail and Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. During the official launch of the Flagship Programmes held at Sunway Putra Hotel, KL on 8th Feb 18, invited media was given the first-hand information about this flagship programmes.

Targets a 7.2% growth in labour productivity in the industry to meet the 2020 National level productivity target of RM 92,300 per worker. Through this, the platform, driven by the private sector and supported by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tn Razak, aims to empower industry associations to become key change agents in the nation. This is because the collective power of industry associations offer a strong bridge to connect with enterprises and knowledge experts in each sector. The event was officiated by Minister of Human Resources YB Dato’ Sri (Dr) Richard Riot Anak Jaem.

At the moment, the Retail and F&B sector employs no less than 2.7 million people which marks a value-added of RM 89 billion – recording an 8.3% contribution to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, the productivity in this sector remains as one of the lowest. This spurred the implementation of the Productivity Nexus which rides on the premise of sharing the economy’s best practices and being inspired by industry experts to further inspire the rest of the industry. The initiative is slated to involve 80 to 100 selected flagship companies.

There is no denying that digitalisation is the way of the future. Recognising this factor, the Retail and F&B Productivity Nexus Champion Dato’ Bruce Lim reiterated,”The Productivity initiatives for Retail and F&B have included support for digitalisation of business operation and honing e-commerce capabilities.”

A Girls' Trip @ #JomNaikMRT

When I heard that the new MRT line has started on last Monday, 17^th Jul 2017, I can't wait to try it out with my friends as it was FREE on the first day of launch. So, I dated Wendy and Syahirah for a fun MRT tour that evening.

We started our journey from MRT Muzeum Negara station. First impression? Very clean, huge and modern MRT stations, even better than what we seen in Korea, Japan and the UK. Most importantly, the air cond is so cold which is really best for our warm weather here in Malaysia.

We traveled from Muzeum Negara to Cheras. Along the journey, we have seen a lot of people also having fun riding on the brand new MRT.

The first stop, we got down from Sri Raya, Cheras. It is quite a huge station as it links to the Saville @ Cheras Condominiums with a sky bridge. Imagine staying here at the condominium, it will be so convenient to stay here as my girls could go to school with MRT line just next to our house. It is hassle free from the heavy traffic on the road, and it took just less than 30 minutes to reach the city center, just so cool!

Have you heard from Subang West? I have visted it for the first time yesterday, and found that it’s actually very easy to access via NKVE and Federal highway. Good Coffee Day 2.0 @ Pantai Sentral Park

I am a coffee junkie, I can’t live without drinking coffee everyday. When I get to know that IJM Land had organised their Good Coffee Day 2 at Pantai Sentral Park last Sunday, I can’t wait to join the event, and I’m glad I joined the event as it turned out to be a fantastic day all about coffee.

The event was held at ICE Gallery @ Pantai Sentral Park, which is easy to locate with the new direct access through NPE and convenient connectivity to KL’s new golden triangle. It took me just 20 minutes all the way from Selayang to there without paying any tolls.

As Christmas is just around the corner, the entire ICE Gallery @ Pantai Sentral Park had been putting up with lovely Christmas decoration. Matching with the white and bright interior, it really feels like a white Christmas there. There’s a huge Candy House that was as sweet to look at in the ICE Gallery, plus Santa Claus and Santarina spereading good cheer during their walkabout sessions it was really a Christmassy Coffee Day out. 

We took the chance to visit the cool Secoya residences Type A show room before the coffee workshops started. Secoya residences Type A is a show room of 1050 sq ft. This cozy 2 bedrooms home is spacious and suitable for young executive family. It has a modernised interior features white and bright that is so comfortable where we could stay in there for hours.

While the other show unit, Secoya residences Type C is a swanky 1670 sq ft house. The 4 bedrooms  home is huge and spacious for a big family. We love its rich furnishings in earthy tones that gives us warm homey feel.

The best part is, IJM Land is having Double plus promotions, with easy entry and subsidised house instalments for Pantai Sentral Park. One must considering buying a home in this urban forest city with its great neighbourhood and community concept.

My family and I were honored to be invited to the Haute Couture @ Pantai Sentral Park on a lovely Sunday afternoon. It was our first time visiting the stylish and artistic ICE Gallery at IJM LAND’s Pantai Sentral Park. The media and guests were invited to take a look at the latest fashion trends created by iconic Malaysian designers Fairuz Ramdan of FAIRUZ RAMDAN BESPOKE, Fern Chua of FERN and Xavier Mah and Alfred Hor of XALF. As a special highlight celebrity stylist and fashion critic Zaihani Zain also made an appearance and gave a talk about her personal insight into the fashion industry.
