Garnier Malaysia Kick-start Nationwide School Education Programme Under its Green Beauty campaign

Garnier Malaysia, whom has started their Green Beauty campaign sometime ago has kick-started its nationwide school education programme as part of their green initiative. The official launch event was held at SMK Darul Ehsan, Selayang Baru in the lovely morning on 29 June 2022. The event was graced by Puan Hajah Marpuaton binti Sastero, Deputy Director of School Management Sector, Selangor State Education Department and I.S.Shanmugaraj Subramaniam, Executive Director of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS). This initiative is part of Garnier Malaysia’s commitment to cultivate and nurture the next generation of Green Heroes through education.

In fact, Green Beauty is Garnier’s global initiative of an end-to-end approach to sustainability. This commitment has ambitious 2025 targets to dramatically reduce Garnier’s overall environmental impact.

Earth Hour has just passed and Earth Day is coming, what have you contributed to our Earth and mother nature? I am happy to share with you the meaningful Green Clean Campaign organised by Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd.

I was honored to be invited to witness the launch of Green Clean campaign at Me.reka Makerspace, Publika Shopping Gallery on 16 Apr 2019. It is a part of Jordan Asia Pacific's efforts to raise the awareness on the 3R concept: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

The gracious event was attended by the Ambassador of Norway to Malaysia, Her Excellency Ms. Gunn Jorid Roset, and officiated by the Director General of the Department of Environment (DOE), Malaysia, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Kamarulnajuib bin Che Ibrahim. The event also saw the attendance of environmental non-governmental organisations as a show of support for Jordan’s Green Clean initiative.

Lunch Date with Sarah Cowan (Managing Director of The Herb Farm)

I was honoured to meet the person behind The Herb Farm organised by TNS Skin Lab not long ago. The lunch date was set at Fat Olive at Verve Suite, Mont Kiara – a charming restaurant that serves really delicious food. A big thanks to TNS Skin Lab for choosing this cosy place. 

Founded by Lynn; mother of Sarah Cowan, The Herb Farm is a New Zealand company that has been making 100% pure natural products at their own farm for many years now.

When I first met Sarah Cowan, I can't believe she is a mother of two as she is so beautiful, tall and skinny just like a model on the runway. My guess is she must be practicing a good lifestyle and skincare regime to look good, young and confidence.

Schorl – The Handmade Pure and Natural Glycerin Soap Bar

I first encountered handmade soap bars many years back in a beauty workshop. I admire the beautiful thoughts behind every handmade soap makers, as they always make a bar that is gentle and moisturizing to our skin.

I’ve tried another Handmade Pure and Natural Glycerin Soap Bar brand, Schorl recently. According to Schorl, their soap bars has No Chemical, No Coloring and No Fragrance added. They were processed stringently under low temperature to preserve the natural ingredient essence, I have heard that cold process is true, original form of soap making.

They are made from natural Glycerin soap base that is a great moisturizer to our skin. Not only that, instead of selling in pure blocks, their soaps are pack in beautiful flowery paper. I find it more practical and also presentable to give a friend as present. 

I have tried 2 different soap bars from Schorl. First, their signature Candle Bush Soap Bar. Contains natural Glycerin soap base, candle bush and pandan. If you don’t know yet, candle bush is a medicinal tree and great for treating ringworm and other fungal infections of the skin; while pandan is a great aroma which I love.

This brown black color soap bar treats eczema and mild skin allergies, plus it also provides antiprurtic (anti-itch) function.

innisfree Malaysia 1st Anniversary

Lee Min Ho, the ambassador of innisfree was here in KL again last week. Since everyone was talking about him hence today I’m gonna share my innisfree series too cause it’s somehow related to him as the brand’s ambassador. 

First, let me share about my experience at innisfree Malaysia 1^st anniversary party that was happened on Sat, 5^th Dec 2015. 

It was a lovely morning where invited VIPs and guests were all dressed up in green and white attire. The innisfree Malaysia 1^st anniversary event was held at Taman Mahsuri, Ground Floor, The Royale Chulan KL.

It is indeed a beautiful indoor garden in the hotel that provides natural sunlight without feeling hot coz it’s air-condition.

innisfree has a Green philosophy which is the promise to preserve and protect nature by taking the time to give back to the Earth. Hence the theme of the event was “Let’s play green”.
