Guinness Draught in a Can - Now You Can Bring The Pub Home with You

The St. Patrick’s cheer was at an all-time high throughout the month of March for Guinness lovers. One of the highlights was the Guinness St. Patrick’s AR Filter where groups of fans shared selfie collages of themselves and their mates on Instagram stories. Eight lucky winners were able to snag the grand prize of an all-expenses-paid trip to One & Only Desaru Coast, meanwhile, 80 selected fans were able to get their hands on the Guinness Home Party Kit that included samples of Guinness Draught in a Can, making them among the first Malaysians to try it.
Offering the smooth and creamy texture of a pub-poured pint, Guinness lovers can now enjoy their favourite draught in the comfort of their own home with Guinness Draught in a Can. This latest addition to the Heineken Malaysia Berhad portfolio is made from roasted barley, malt, hops, yeast, water and a dash of magic - the revolutionary Guinness widget that was the first in the world. The widget uses an ingenious nitrogen filled capsule that surges with bubbles when the can is opened, and the result is a perfectly smooth and creamy beer that is unmistakably Guinness.

The Guinness widget is unique as it makes the process of pouring Guinness Draught in a Can simple, involving four easy steps: crack open a chilled can, tilt the glass at 45˚, fill to the top and enjoy.
“We are excited that Guinness Draught in a Can is finally available for Malaysian fans to enjoy. As Guinness has always encouraged fans to spark magical moments together, this innovative product gives them the opportunity to do so wherever they are. Perfect for the days when they want to create new memories together outside of the pub, Guinness Draught in a Can recreates the look and taste of a freshly poured Guinness from the draught tap. Except now, providing a different drinking experience for them,” said Shaun Lim, Marketing Manager of Guinness Malaysia.

Hennessy X.O Closes off The Prosperous Garden of HEI with Final Leg in Kuala Lumpur

Hennessy Malaysia kicked off their final leg of the most anticipated Chinese New Year after-party titled the Prosperous Garden of HEI at Sentul Depot. The festival was anchored on its garden theme that was prevalent in the décor and mise en place blooming with greenery and an array of delicate flowers.
The Prosperous Garden of HEI even had its own currency in the form of custom-made Hennessy tokens that allowed guests to redeem everything from canapés to drinks at the bar as well as participate in fun games such as Tiles of Prosperity and The Pot of Luck. The latter is an arcade game where guests had three attempts to get three matching symbols while the former requires participants to guess eight Mahjong tiles in 30 seconds by only relying on their sense of touch. The guests stood to win great prizes that included a bottle of Hennessy X.O, a premium Mahjong set and specially crafted Hennessy cocktails amongst others.
“I’m tremendously proud of the experience we were able to put forth for our customers that will serve as a memorable close to the Chinese New Year celebrations for the Year of the Water Tiger. Hennessy X.O over the years has become intertwined with the festivities as it is the drink of choice in many households. Being synonymous with the Chinese New Year celebrations, we wanted to bring that to life through the Prosperous Garden of HEI. From the activities to Hennessy X.O’s flagship eateries and of course the overall concept, we ensured that there were key elements that align with the expectations of our customers. I was really happy to see the Prosperous Garden of HEI prosper throughout the weeks over three locations,” said Aiko Lee, Senior Brand Manager of Moët Hennessy Diageo Malaysia.

In the centre of it all was the Treasure Court, wherein lies delectable canapes from Hennessy X.O’s flagship eateries that guests were able to feast on. Those that attended the finale in Kuala Lumpur indulged in the wonderful creations of Skillet, Ming Ren Xuan and One Seafood.
