Diptyque Florabellio Eau de Toilette is Diptyque's latest perfume which was just launched this May 2015. Perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin has spent 6 years’ time to develop Florabellio. It has a very special notes combination including notes of salty sea spray, sea fennel, apple blossom, osmanthus, roasted coffee and toasted sesame.

Florabellio is an olfactory landscape, a fragment of nostalgia, breaking through the barriers between memories and reality. A glimpse of nature, a path that leads from the woods to the shore. In the foreground, invigorating and salty sea spray mingles with the vegetal bitterness of sea fennel. It then develops around soft and sensual apple blossom on the wings of apricot-scented osmanthus mist. In the background, like an optical illusion, swirling wafts of roasted coffee with toasted sesame accents, foreign yet familiar. It was relating to Barfleur, Normandy, in the childhood memories of Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, who co-founded Diptyque in year 1961.

A floral trail, blurring the perspectives between land and sea, flower and fruit, softness and bitterness... the senses are led toward distant coastlines.

Diptyque Florabellio Eau de Toilette comes in 2 sizes;

50ml / 1.7 fl.oz. is retail at RM350 (GST included), and 100ml / 3.4 fl.oz which is retail at RM450 (GST included).

fleur d’oranger - From the ancient theatre majestically overlooking the sea and Mount Etna, the afternoon heat brings a desire to seek out some shade on a square dotted with flowers and baroque charm, delightfully bathed in a festive atmosphere. Here, brides still wear slender crowns of orange blossom, whose perfume releases a subtle yet sunny trail. A citrus freshness mingles with the bright Mediterranean, reviving memories of childhood aromas.

Gingembre - Floating on the misty waters of the Mekong, a spice market carries along its precious aromas. Snippets of conversations drift on light breezes. The humidity of the day seems to have worn away the banks of the great river. The initial purity of freshly cut ginger envelops the senses completely, so much so that in the distance, the figure of The Lover or the emerald paddy fields of The Sea Wall can be made out.
