Staycation at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown

My family and I had enjoyed a break with a staycation devoted to deep rest, rejuvenation, and the restorative power of true reset at the latest 5 stars hotel in town - Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown recently.

Designed by the World-renowned Japanese architect - Mr. Kengo Kuma, the hotel embodies a harmonious fusion of nature, Japanese heritage and contemporary sophistication. There are many aesthetics and authentic decorations made by natural materials such as wood, stone and paper in the hotel. Every spots is picture perfect here!

Located right opposite the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Malaysia's largest event venue; the strategic location makes it ideal for discerning business travellers attending conferences, event planners organising gatherings and leisure guests exploring the city's offerings.

The hotel has 306 guestrooms and suites plus 104 units of fully serviced residences, well caters to both short-term visitors and extended-stay guests. There are wide variety of accomodations, including 15 room types and 22 suites, from King and Twin Rooms to Regency Club Rooms & Suites, Diplomatic Suites, and the exclusive Presidential Suite.

We checked into the 2-bedrooms suites at the service residences. We like the spacious layouts, well equipped kitchenette featuring a full-sized refrigerator & coffee machine, comfy beds, blackout curtains & more. There are 3 restrooms in the suite, offer a high level of privacy, convenience, and comfort.

Guests can experience world-class comfort with their 5-star amenities. The 32nd floor of the serviced residences also features a skypool, a residents' lounge and a vibrant Kidz Club. Staffed by two dedicated colleagues, the Kidz Club provides a safe & engaging environment for children, for parents to have a peace of mind.

Guests can also relax at the serene infinity pool and Breeze pool bar on the 5th floor, while residential guests can enjoy serene infinity pool on the 32nd floor, offering breathtaking views of the KL skyline in complete privacy. Both pools are filled with eco-friendly chlorinated saltwater and are monitored daily by certified lifeguards to ensure safety and peace of mind.

On the 5th floor, Core fitness center offers a wide range of different cardio machines and workout equipment, as well as some heavier weights 24 hours. Personal trainers are available upon request to create customized workout programs tailored to individual fitness goals.

Overall, my whole family enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown. Every detail—from the warm welcome to the inviting atmosphere—created a sense of comfort and belonging we rarely experience elsewhere.
