I Tasted My Daughters’ Milk, What About You?

As adults, we always try to eliminate too much sugar intake in our daily diet because we know that too much sugar will lead us to various diseases like obesity, type II diabetes and heart disease. Hence when we order Teh Tarik, kopi o, or natural fresh fruit juice, we always request for less sweet, or even without added sugar. But, hold on, what about our kids? Do you know how much sugar they are taking each day?

As a parent, I strongly believe we need to monitor our kid’s diet and sugar intake daily. It all starts with the essential food for the kids – the milk they drink every day. Have you tasted your kid’s milk yourselves? Not surprising that many parents do not taste their kid’s milk themselves.

To experiment further, I decided to taste my girl’s milk myself. I have used Brand X and Y in this test. Firstly, Brand X does not only smell sugary, it also tastes very sweet, hmm I would not want to give it to any kids because it’s just too sweet.

Brand Y is the most natural one and has a smooth, less sweet taste. Guess what, Brand Y belongs to Anmum Essential which has No Added Sugar.

I am definitely switching my kid’s milk to Brand Y as it tastes the best and most natural to me. We should trust our taste buds, and decide the best for our kids. After all, we want to give them the good nutrition, without the unnecessary added sugar isn’t it?

Other tips to know if your kid’s milk contains added sugars and syrups or not, we could read the label. Avoid anything such as brown sugar, corn syrup solid, dextrose, fructose, glucose, glucose syrup solid, maltose, maltodextrin, and white sugar as these are added sugars which are not good for kids if taken too much.

I am a coffee junkie, I can’t live without drinking coffee everyday. When I get to know that IJM Land had organised their Good Coffee Day 2 at Pantai Sentral Park last Sunday, I can’t wait to join the event, and I’m glad I joined the event as it turned out to be a fantastic day all about coffee.

The event was held at ICE Gallery @ Pantai Sentral Park, which is easy to locate with the new direct access through NPE and convenient connectivity to KL’s new golden triangle. It took me just 20 minutes all the way from Selayang to there without paying any tolls.

As Christmas is just around the corner, the entire ICE Gallery @ Pantai Sentral Park had been putting up with lovely Christmas decoration. Matching with the white and bright interior, it really feels like a white Christmas there. There’s a huge Candy House that was as sweet to look at in the ICE Gallery, plus Santa Claus and Santarina spereading good cheer during their walkabout sessions it was really a Christmassy Coffee Day out. 

We took the chance to visit the cool Secoya residences Type A show room before the coffee workshops started. Secoya residences Type A is a show room of 1050 sq ft. This cozy 2 bedrooms home is spacious and suitable for young executive family. It has a modernised interior features white and bright that is so comfortable where we could stay in there for hours.

While the other show unit, Secoya residences Type C is a swanky 1670 sq ft house. The 4 bedrooms  home is huge and spacious for a big family. We love its rich furnishings in earthy tones that gives us warm homey feel.

The best part is, IJM Land is having Double plus promotions, with easy entry and subsidised house instalments for Pantai Sentral Park. One must considering buying a home in this urban forest city with its great neighbourhood and community concept.

More Internet Quota with the New Digi Postpaid Plans

I am a Postpaid mobile phone plan subscriber ever since I had a cellphone. I find it easier to pay a fixed amount every month just like paying any other bills but I have been suffering from not enough Internet quota every month.
