I have been eyeing on Hokkaido Ichiba since iPhone 4 Maxis launch event at end of Sep. Finally I had a chance to dine there on last Sunday with hubby & sister-in-law.
We reached Hokkaido Ichiba at 10:30am, the restaurant was empty and quiet. According to the waiter, Hokkaido Ichiba restaurant is under same company of Sushi Zanmai, Pasta Zanmai and Rakuzen. We took some time to read through the menus and order our meals. The service was good until 11am++

We finished our main courses before 12pm, and we asked the waiters to serve our ice-cream. In fact, the restaurant was full with customers by that time, and the queue outside the restaurant was quite long too. I guess everyone was busy thus it took more than half an hour for the ice-cream to be served!

Overall the food quality was good, the ice-cream was nice too. We tried Goma, Honey Melon, Milk Chocolate, Mango, Rongo and Niagara flavors. The ice-cream sherbet was fresh and taste not too sweet. However when we wanted to pay, we encountered headache again. :(
We waited 10 minutes for the bill, end up the bill was over charged! They charged the set meal at dinner's price(RM6 more expensive than lunch time) so it was RM20+ more! I pointed it out to the waiter, she went back to check and change the bill again and we waited another 10 more minutes! Argh~~~~ Finally we left the restaurant at 1pm and I guess I wouldn't go to Hokkaido Ichiba during peak hours again. Folks, do check your bill when you pay because you might be over-charged too.

Ohya, last but not least, Mid Valley City has revised their car park rates since 1st Nov 2010 to below;
Next time you go Mid Valley, no more RM1 for 3 hours during weekday and no maximum charges :'(
