The VIKids Carnival Returns with Retro-Futuristic Fun & Creative Workshops This School Holiday

Alamanda Shopping Centre is set to bring back its highly anticipated VIKids Carnival from 20 May to 7 June 2026. Coinciding with the mid-term school holidays, this action-packed 19-day campaign promises an immersive, high-energy experience designed to captivate VIKids members and their families alike.

As a deeply community-centric mall, Alamanda remains dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment that focus on healthy fun and meaningful engagement for the entire family. This annual carnival serves as a key platform to bring parents and children together, offering wholesome activities that encourage active interaction and build lasting memories.

This year, the Centre Court has been transformed into a lively retro-futuristic carnival, drawing inspiration from the vibrant aesthetics of the 1980s neon era. Visitors will step onto a classic black-and-white checkered floor, surrounded by glowing neon-lighted props of nostalgic icons like cassette tapes, boomboxes, and palm trees. The carnival features 4 booths hosting traditional funfair games, exciting arcade zones, and engaging arts & crafts workshops open to the public.

To further amplify the festive atmosphere, the carnival will showcase fun weekend performances. Families can look forward to three daily spectacles every Saturday and Sunday, featuring high-energy Neon Dance numbers, mesmerising Magic Shows, and delightful Balloonist Clown acts to engage and entertain crowds.
Under the Shoppers Rewards Programme, existing VIKids members who spend RM300 and above in up to two receipts at any specialty store can redeem two complimentary Carnival Passes. Non-members can also enjoy these exclusive perks by spending RM500 and above in up to two receipts.

Each Carnival Pass unlocks access to selected games and activities on a complimentary basis, giving young ones a wholesome holiday experience.

MESRA MALL IGNITES CREATIVITY WITH STATIONERY-THEMED FUN

Meanwhile, Mesra Mall Kemaman is hosting its own edition of the VIKids Carnival from 22 to 26 May 2026, offering a unique, hands-on experience tailored to drive traffic and reward families during the school break.

Centred around a delightful stationery theme, the event features an interactive photo opportunity, complete with a giant selfie frame beautifully decorated with stationery designs. To spark young imaginations, the mall will run a series of daily DIY craft workshops between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm,

where children under 12 can design their own school essentials, including School Timetables, Stationery Holders, Pencil Toppers, and custom Bookmarks.

Mesra Mall's Shoppers Rewards Programme ensures that a single-receipt purchase of RM50 and above at any specialty store entitles VIKids members to two complimentary workshop entry tickets.

Furthermore, new VIKids member registrations with a minimum spend of RM100 in a single receipt will receive two workshop tickets, alongside a special Stationery Set Goodie Bag for the first 300 sign-ups.
