Songkran Bazaar @ BANNGKOK Street Food, Platinum Walk Setapak KL

We Malaysian love Thai street food for it’s kick and spiciness. I especially love to enjoy my hot tomyam kung during any rainy days, it warm my heart and made me feel really satisfied.
Recommended by a blogger friend of mine, we visited BANNGKOK Street Food at Platinum Walk Setapak KL weeks ago. They are having the Songkran Bazaar where we can enjoy many different variety of Thai Street food in BANNGKOK.
Songkran, the festival to celebrate the Thai New Year, we see people enjoy the water play and to chillax with friends and family over food. Well, BANNGKOK would be a great place as it is decorated in fun colors with many traditional decorations of old plate and wooden table just like you in Bangkok. It’s a best place to enjoy good food and take great pictures for the great memory.
Located inside Platinum Walk Setapak KL, there are ample of car parks available with affordable car park fees. They offer more than 100 types of Thai food to satisfy our cravings for Thai food at Songkran Bazaar.

We have tried more than 30 dishes that day, let’s see what we had that day.

Starter:

Miang Kham

A famous Thai starter made from Betel leaf, ginger, lime zest, shallots, chili, roasted coconut, dry shrimp, peanut, drizzled with a sweet tangy sauce.

Yam Mamuang Kai Krob

The green mango salad serve with crispy chicken in sweet sour spicy dressing.

Khan Tok Kai

Steamed sticky rice with fried chicken, papaya salad and green lettuce.

Quail Egg

Everyone loves the quail egg serve with Thai Fish sauce.

Noodles:

Puu Ob Woon Sen

Baked river water crab in glass noodles and spring onions.

Tom Yam Goong

Fresh water prawn, rice noodles, tom yam broth, chicken meatball, boiled egg and crushed peanut.

Rice:

Krapaw Set

Basil Minced Lamb, crispy egg, nachos, rice, bread, vege, Thai sauce.

Bangto

Cashew chicken, chap chai, omelette and rice.

Khao Yam

Southern Thai Nasi Kerabu with fried chicken.

Grilled squid, fishball, meatball, prawn ball and crab stick.

Hoy Tod

Crispy Oyster Omelette.

Pla Muek Kai Kem

Salted egg squid.

Mussel Prik

Stir-fried mussel in chili egg gravy, so yum.

Pok Tek

Red creamy TomYam, crad, suid, prawn, clam, fish and mussel.

Krung Thai

Deep fried seabass, lemongrass Tomyam sauce, Kaduk and cashew nut.

Basil minced beef, crispy egg.

Somtam Burger

Crnchy chicken with papaya salad.

Mamuang Burger

Soft shell crab, green mango salad.

Lemongrass, chili flake, lime and mint leave.

Cha Yen Yai

Thai iced tea served in Thermos, this big pot is great to share amongst friends.

BANNGKOK Street Food is Halal and non-alcohol provided. The price is affordable, dishes is tasty, everything is good! We will come here again for Birthday celebration or family dinner for sure. It is also a good choice for company event, drama shooting or photoshooting.
