A Diary of a Libran on-board Superstar Libra

Thanks to Hwajing Travel & Tours for fulfilling my dream to onboard Superstar Libra. As a Libran, I have been always wanted to tour with Superstar Libra. My dream has been fulfilled in conjunction with the grand launch of “Royal HighTea” onboard Superstar Libra last month.
We started our journey on a mild rainy Saturday morning, where we travelled from Berjaya Times Square all the way to Port Swettenham, Penang by Hwajing Travel & Tours bus. We were lucky as the weather at Penang was sunny and nice.
Once we met with other bloggers and media, we had checked in the cruise together with our roommate that night. I was happy to stay with my blogger buddy at Room 3012, an ocean view stateroom with window. The room was equipped with all the necessary amenities, simple and nice.

Once we have unloaded our luggage, we proceeded to the Four Seasons Restaurant at Deck 4 to enjoy the scrumptious yet exclusive Royal Hospitality at the “Royal High Tea”. There, we got to know other bloggers and media friends as well as introduced to the professional Hwajing’s team.

Executive Suite of Superstar Libra

Since we were treated till very full, we proceeded to take some exercise by joining the Superstar Libra’s ship tours. The friendly crew has showed us the variety of cabins available, and we love the Executive Suite the most! Hope that we have a chance travel in this nice room on our cruise holiday soon.
There were lots of facilities, shops and entertaining for passengers to enjoy on the cruise.
We were glad to have our dinner at Spices, the Certified HALAL restaurant that serves authentic Malay cuisine located at Deck 10.
Once we finished our dinner, we participated in Safety Drill at 8.45PM. During the Safety Drill, all services will be suspended.
We spent the rest of the night to watch the show at Stardust Lounge and also tried our luck at Resorts World at Sea.
We woke up at 7.25am to catch the sunrise the next morning. We then freshen up ourselves and had breakfast at Mariners Buffet that serves Asian and International buffet breakfast. The ship arriving Penang at around 10am hence we proceeded to check-out at the Reception Counter to settle any bill since the cruise operate on cashless basis. All the expenses will be charge to passenger’s access card and they need to settle the bill 3 hours prior to the ship arrival at Port of Disembarkation.
It was a fast but fun weekend getaway at Superstar Libra. We would surely go back for more, maybe the 4D3N Penang-Phuket-Krabi-Penang package.

I haven't got the change to get on a cruise yet. It is my dream and I wouldn't mind a short getaway, for a start.
