Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs is an all-time popular storyline that stays in the hearts of the public. The evil Queen looks into her mirror to ask: “Who is the fairest of them all?”, only to be told it is her stepdaughter, Snow White. She sends her loyal Huntsman into the forest on a mission to kill Snow White and bring her heart back to the Queen.

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs the Musical is directed by Chris Colby and choreographed by David Kort. These theatre veterans from London’s West End have brought the most dazzling musicals to stages across Europe and Asia. Both Chris and David also led the productions of Beauty and the Beast the Musical, Peter Pan the Musical, Magical Musicals, Aladdin the Musical, London the Summer Musical, The Adventures of Captain Quack and London Boys at Sunway Lagoon.

“This is a very exciting time for us who have seen the evolution of musicals at Sunway Lagoon, as they have always been a magical and collaborative effort between international and local talents. Learning from the previous musicals, we also introduced some Malaysian flavour – adding humor into the musical to offer another twist for the audience to enjoy our production of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs the Musical,” said Chris Colby.

David Laugharne is a familiar name across London’s West End. He has lent his musical talents in productions like Miss Saigon, Avenue Q, The Lion King and Legally Blonde. He also led the National Symphony Chamber Orchestra in the United Kingdom as conductor to their joint concert tour with world famous Soprano vocalist, Hayley Westenra.

“This will be the second time we incorporate live musicians into our musical production. Alongside the talented cast, dancers and live performers, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs the Musical will provide audiences with an even more ‘organic’ theatre experience where every performance will be unique in their own way,” said David Kort.
