that right! The all-time favorite fairytale, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs
the Musical has arrived at the multi-award winning attraction Sunway
Lagoon, and members of the media get a first-hand preview to see the exciting
preparations for the extravaganza production!
“With
the aim to provide guests with memorable experiences, our musicals have always
been a magical and collaborative effort between international and local
talents. Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs the Musical is going to be
another big hit this year, and I look forward to seeing people of all ages here
at our Amphitheatre,” said Mr. Bill Holman, Consultant Director of Sunway
Lagoon.
The event started off by getting members of the media to lend a
hand in the making of the props for Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. Khairul
Nizar Abdul Hamid, Art Director of Sunway Lagoon shared: “Sunway Lagoon has put
in a lot of effort in every aspect of the musical production – from the props to
the stage setting of the play – as each and every element contributes towards putting
up the world-class standard performances we aim to bring to the public”.
Joining Khairul were veteran West End Musical Producers, Chris
Colby and David Kort. Chris will be playing the important role of director of
the Snow
White and The Seven Dwarfs the Musical production, while David
will be lending his expertise as choreographer.
“We always look forward to our year-end collaboration with Sunway
Lagoon as this is a very exciting time for us who have seen the evolution of
musicals staged at Sunway Lagoon. For Snow
White and The Seven Dwarfs the Musical, we have great dance
routines and special effects to further enhance the watching experience”, said
Chris Colby.
With the celebrated feedback garnered from having live musicians at
the previous musicals, West End Musical Director, David Laugharne will once
again lead a nine-piece orchestra to perform the score for Snow White & The
Seven Dwarfs.
Starting from 7 December 2013 till 1 January
2014, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs the Musical will be playing daily
at 8:00pm (no performances on Mondays) at the Amphitheatre @ Sunway Lagoon.
Tickets are priced at RM190, RM140 and RM100 for Adults and RM160, RM110 and RM80 for Children, inclusive of a meal. Guests can choose from the selection of Coke, Citrus or mineral water with either a popcorn or hot dog to savor while enjoying this everlasting favorite musical.
Corporate bookings with a minimum of 50 tickets will be entitled to a 30% discount rate.
