Shu Uemura Face Architect Sheer Refining Mousse Foundation

Shu Uemura Face Architect Sheer Refining Mousse Foundation is the latest mousse foundation that I have recently tried on.
Shu Uemura claims that is has the benefits of Flex-Fit Formula - allows for formula to sit naturally on the skin for buildable coverage and also Multi-Smoothing System - specially designed powders provide a smooth look and finish. It contains 40% Depsea Water - high concentration delivers ultimate hydration and comfort on the skin.

I like the Shu Uemura Face Architect Sheer Refining mousse foundation very much. It's moisturising and the coverage is good enough to cover my pores and uneven skin tone. The mousse foundation is easy to apply with hands or sponge, and easily blend evenly on my face. It's mousse type hence it's not heavy, not cakey and I feel just natural with it. The best part of it is, eventhough I have a combination skin, my t-zone doens't feel oily nor sticky after 6 hours. :)

O.P.I Navy Shatter Swatches

OPI Shatter Top Coat is an innovative formula glides over the nail and creates a cracked, rippled effect similar to that shown on the polish lid. OPI Shatter gives that cutting edge finish to any standard nail colour that is taking the fashion world by strorm!
I have recently purchased the Navy Shatter from Nail Fiesta and tried on it. It was fun to see the Navy shatter split and created the cracked effect on my nails.
I applied OPI Alpine Snow as my base before Navy Shatter.

With Flash

Without Flash
Follow by one coat of Navy Shatter. Shatter dries up very fast(I did my manicure in my living room under the fan in slow speed) so you got to be quick and steady when applying it. I applied transparent top coat after the nails are dried.

I think It would look nicer If I have a longer nails. :)

Clinique Star Tour 2011 - Rane's Star Treatment!

This is the first time I joined Clinique Star Tour, I must Say It's so fun and I can't wait to join again! :)
Not sure what is Clinique Star Tour? Check out my previous post here.
I have selected Mid Valley location on 10th July 11. I reached there at 1 PM and it was raining. At first I couldn't find Clinique Star Tour truck but lucky I found the direction by asking at the concierge. Clinique Star Tour truck was just outside of The Secret Recipe. Just right after I stepped out from Centre Court, I saw Clinique staffs holding cute white and green umbrellas waiting to serve all the girls. :)
Before I start my treatment, I have to register myself by filling up a form. And for those who want to participate CLEO Cover shot, you would have to write down what is your career inspiration. Once the registration is done, I was lead to onboard the truck.
Rane's Star Treatment ready to start!

1st thing I did was Clinique 3-Step Skin Analysis and Prepping. The BA asked my skin concerns then prepping my skins with Clinique 3-step that's suitable for my skin.
Make Up and the Cosmetics

Once my skin is prep, I was lead to do my makeup by Clinique Makeup Experts. My MUA has used quite a lot of products on me: Clinique foundation, Concealer, Powder, Cherry Blossom Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad, Really Black Quickliner, Black Onyx Lash Power Volumising Mascara, Peony Fresh Bloom All Over Colour, and Berry Boost Vitamin C Lip Smoothie Antioxidant Lip Colour. I love the makeup as it's fresh and young.

Rane is having hairdo
And then I got my Hair-Styled by Miko Galere before heading for the Fashion photograph.
Everyone is excited for the Photoshooting
This year Clinique didn't print out the photo. Instead Clinique will upload the photo to Clinique Star Tour website for the girls to download. Just click the "Download Your Picture" link on the top right corner, and login with your NRIC and Email address that you used to register. I found my photo is ready on the next day, and I love the photo.
At the end of it, I received Clinique's Door Gift worth approximately RM 130 which including a 3-steps skin care, a black onyx mascara, and a Super City Block SPF 40. Oh, there are also Miko Galere RM 10 vouchers X 3 and CLEO July issue in the goodies bag.

Hada Labo Cleansing Oil

I love Cleansing oil and I have been using Shu Uemura cleansing oil for 5 years now. I love the fact that I just need one product to clean my makeup, no seperate steps to remove eyes and lips makeup. However I have heard quite a lot of my pals complaining Shu Uemura cleansing oil is not suitable for them and hurting their eyes badly. So, I would like to try other brands to see what's the differences.
I am glad to buy and try Hada Labo Cleansing Oil during Hada Labo tea party lately. Hada Labo Cleansing Oil contains high purity olive oil which claims is very gentle for our skin.

This is the amount I used to clean my whole face. Well I would say it is more gentle than Shu's one and it remove makeup and waterproof mascara effectively. I smells naturally nice however I feel that it is quite oily hence I have to double cleanse my face with a cleanser after using Hada Labo Cleansing Oil.

Hada Labo Cleansing Oil 200 ml is selling at RM 49.90 at major local drug stores. I would say it's value for money and is another good product from Mentholatum.  :)

Oh last but not least, how to use cleansing oil? On clean hands, take an appropriate amount (about 2-3 push). Spread on your entire face in a cirucular motion to blend with makeups well. Rinse with water or luke-warm water thoroughly.

Watch Transformer 3 with Double A

Thanks Double A Malaysia for organising Transformer 3: Dark of the Moon movie premier at GSC 1 Utama on 29th June 11 night.
Since It's a 3D show which means where you sit is very important hence I went to their office in Jaya 33 to collect the tickets in advance. I have chosen the corner 2 seats of 4th row from back(Middle seats was all fully occupied).
Overall, Transformer 3 is not bad, just don't expect it's as good as the previous 2 then it's fine.(at least to me)  :)
Now share with you the Double A goodies bag, there are cool Transformer notepad and cute little mini Double A paper ream which I like very much. Thanks Double A again for the movie and the experience of done my very 1st questionnaires in cinema.
